We have just designed an invitation for our good friends Børje Sundt Laastad (Sundt Arkitekter) and Jacob Grieg Eide (MaritimeColours). 

We have just finished filming, grading and editing the fall collection 2010 movie for VirreVapp (visit web). It was not easy as the Nikon system had issues with shutter and aperture. We did not manage to lock the exposure so some of the clips are quite overexposed. We did however benefit from the newly purchased steadycam solution from GlideCam. It made our day in terms of smooth movement. The movie can be viewed at VirreVapp.no or directly at Vimeo.

We have done a complete redesign of pura.no which was launced originally two years ago. A lot has happened with the profile we did back then and it has now grown into something we are very proud to be a part of. From brand, logo, reports, exhibition and web. And yes, it works on all the "i" devices :)

We have worked with Arsenal Norway for several years now, and each year they give out 6 magazines. The Gunners Post has been developed and redesigned by Sommerseth Design to bring it up-to-date and increase readership. The magazine won a price in 2007.

We are glad to announce that Sommerseth Design are going to have a two page tutorial on designing with the iPad. It will be a special, later this summer. More info will be released when the magazine have been published. We have made a little teaser for a selection of our best client and a reminder that "we give every pixel a new life" :)  A special thanks to "The Gorilla" for techniques on using Sub Polygon Displacement mapping in 3D space.

We are all very excited about the new version of Adrem Publish. We have celebrated by creating a completely new log in screen coupled with the logo rendered out in 3D. More images coming soon :)

We are trying out the new betaversion of Cheetah 3D (released last night). One of the new features we have welcomed is the particle system.

We have just delivered the new web design for the mechanical production company, Brødrene Johnsen. The site it self is still under some adjustments from our partner Adrem Internett.
The site feature an advanced image gallery. Stay tuned for more information.

As part of the new name launch for SpareBank1 Søre Sunnmøre, together with Lillian at the Volda dep. we have created a "new star". This 3D/comp will be on print in the local newspapers. Both the balloons and logo was created in 3D.   More info and images coming soon.

As part of launching the new profile and website for Sundt Arkitkter we have followed the "pixel effect" and created a teaser for what to expect from the new website. Enjoy!

We are waiting for the launch of Frogn kommune website. We have just delivered an illustration/comp which symbolizes the county with many of its trademarks. Heavy use of 3D and compositing.

We are in the process of designing logo, stationery, signage etc for the new SpareBank 1 Søre Sunnmøre. As part of that delivery we have made some artistic launch concepts. Combination of 3D and photo compositing. 

We have just received our new business cards, fresh of the press from egsetviketrykk. Glossy UV print on the text/graphics. We love it! :)

We have just filmed and edited a movie for Tin-Tof. This extended commercial show the quality product "Shaddy Hooves". It was shot in 1080p, edited down and graded with more warmth and saturation. Notice the original shot compared to the graded one.

When NSF (Norwegian Swimming Federation) was to celebrate its 100th anniversary we pitched in a new logo. They decided to stick with old logo, but we thought it was so good that we would like to share it here on our website. 

As you can see the "aggressive" wave was inspired by water and a majestic sea horse.

We are in the process of delivering the website for Tersus-Renhold. A logo and brand we created earlier. The website is the first from Sommerseth Design to sport Wordpress as a content management solution. The site will focus on renewable detergents that is in use, total cleaning facility. The Norwegian Swimming Federation has a yearly "Swimmers day". This year they made it possible for the public to come up with a logo. Sommerseth Design alongside Alexander Dale Oen (our trophy winning swimmer) was in the jury with NSF to pick the winner. In this diploma you can see the winning logo and the dynamic illustration put together by the creative heads here at Sommerseth Design.
