We have worked with Arsenal Norway for several years now, and each year they give out 6 magazines. The Gunners Post has been developed and redesigned by Sommerseth Design to bring it up-to-date and increase readership. The magazine won a price in 2007.  
This is the # 004 new year issue  for the season 10-11. The magazine is 132 pages of sport photos, strong layout and great reading for Arsenal fans in Norway, Sweden and UK! Over 5,500 copies delivered on time.

We have just filmed and edited a movie for Tin-Tof. This extended commercial show the quality product "Shaddy Hooves". It was shot in 1080p, edited down and graded with more warmth and saturation. Notice the original shot compared to the graded one.

We have just received our new business cards, fresh of the press from egsetviketrykk. Glossy UV print on the text/graphics. We love it! :)

We are in the process of delivering the website for Tersus-Renhold. A logo and brand we created earlier. The website is the first from Sommerseth Design to sport Wordpress as a content management solution. The site will focus on renewable detergents that is in use, total cleaning facility. When NSF (Norwegian Swimming Federation) was to celebrate its 100th anniversary we pitched in a new logo. They decided to stick with old logo, but we thought it was so good that we would like to share it here on our website. 

As you can see the "aggressive" wave was inspired by water and a majestic sea horse.

The Norwegian Swimming Federation has a yearly "Swimmers day". This year they made it possible for the public to come up with a logo. Sommerseth Design alongside Alexander Dale Oen (our trophy winning swimmer) was in the jury with NSF to pick the winner. In this diploma you can see the winning logo and the dynamic illustration put together by the creative heads here at Sommerseth Design.

A few months back we did this large promotional poster for PURA that was also used as a cover for their report on water sources and purity. We spent 3-4 days 3D rendering and compositing this image together. It was well worth the time :)

We are currently designing the new brand identity for Sundt Arkitekter. The new website will be published shortly so we can only present some of the early screenshots and of course how the new logo looks like. To see the current web and logo go to: Sundt-Arkitekter.no

From the screens you can see the organic typography shaping into the initials of "SA" of Sundt Arkitekter. Orange is the primary color the main architect, Børje Sundt Laastad and acts as a signature in many of his creations.

About BIT20 Ensemble

BIT20 Ensemble was founded in Bergen, Norway in 1989. Consisting of 15 musicians, BIT20 is regarded as one of the foremost Nordic contemporary music ensembles.

We were contacted by our client PURA,  to whom we developed the brand identity for in 2008. We were to create a two page flyer for PURA to be used by DN.  

We are currently doing some motion work for Tommy Rambøl who visited Mount Everest. Screens from the intro and the finished poster which is going to be used in conjunction with seminars he is holding shortly. Heavy color correction and compositing work. Which we simply love. Stay tuned :)

Did you know that we are having courses in Photoshop (beginner to advanced) through our partner Infografikk? We have tought vital "Photoshop secrets" to some of the biggest ad agencies in Norway. We also have experience from studio and fieldwork (television videographer). 

We have just delivered the new webpages for Casa Interior. Not only is the main page completely redesigned we have also changed how the back-end solution is projected to the users.

This is the # 004 winter issue  for the season 09-10. A light, bright, and yet strong cover. 150 pages of lovely grids, strong photos and great quality. Over 5,500 copies delivered on time.

This picture was taken during our trip to Italy this summer and shows not only the amazing curve, but also a new trendy method in photography called "tilt-shifting".

We have just delivered title and logo (brand id) for Tersus-Renhold.
The name "Tersus" is latin and means "clean". The name is catchy and suits a cleaning company with a young workforce. The logo symbol, or "twister" as we like to call it illustrates has a resemblance to: Tornado, turbine, snailhouse, stairs, twisting. It also sports a green color which indicates that "we use only environmental friendly detergents".

The client was extremely satisfied. We can not wait to start the web design!

We have successfully delivered a large marketing campaign. The bank gives away a price to local talent (individuals and organizations)  and honored work. Delivery included: Advertising, web banners, application forms, posters and more. 

We made a poster for the bank to advertise a meeting for "everyday economy". The key speaker is known from the television show "Luksusfellen" on TV3.

We have just completed the delivery of a yearly invitation that SpareBank1 Volda-Ørsta sends out to some of their clients that have moved to other major cities in Norway.

A follow-up ad for the pension saving service "OTP".

Casa Interior is about to launch it's own collection and we got the assignment of making the logo/brand that shall pride bags and glass.

SpareBank1 will soon have self-serviced ATM's for cash and payment solutions.

We were given the assignment to design this years xmas greeting for the 4 banks in SpareBank1 (Volda/Ørsta, Herøy and Ulstein). Will be run in the local papers at Sunnmøre.

SpareBank1 was the sponsor of several tickets that was given away to one of DonkeyBoys concerts. This is the design/layout we came up with! 

SpareBank1 wanted a "reminder" campaign of BSU (savings account for young house buyers). Displayed in bank and at the website.

We did a VISA campaign for SpareBank 1 Volda Ørsta. Delivery included: Ideas for text, concept and layout.

Svøm deg til Kypros is a swimming competition in Norway, where regualar people should swim a distance in a selected time periode. The price  this year is a trip to Cyprus.

We worked with the NSF team to develop an overall 'feel' for Cyprus, the competition and the messages it should convey to swimmers of  Norway. 

The result:
 Our initial concept developed into a modern identity that takes in the essence of the competion in a  playful way. 

SpareBank1 was the sponsor of some locale cinemas showing of the movie "Jul i Blåfjell". 

Delivery included: Poster, advertisement, web banners and more.

We pitched in this design for NSF (Norwegian Swimming Federation) for the contest in Rome 2009.

We have just designed (and delivered) the new official roll-up for the Norwegian Swimming Federation (NSF). Packed with contrast and big, bold types!

We have just delivered the new web design (in programming now) for Frogn kommune. It has technology and functionality never seen before on a public website. We will be back with more info when it launches! We have also "brushed" up the current logo and we are working on a two page advertisement master design.

We did the corporate ID (brand name and design) for this new exciting company called eCondo. More information about the company will be published within the next weeks.

The idea was to convey the letter "e" done by different geometrical building blocks. Where as the "e" stands for "element" and "condo" derives from the latin word: build and in english the word "condo" is used when referring to apartment, housing.

We had done a series of illustrations and mailed out some electronic easter greeting cards to some of our clients.

This years annual report from Pasientombudskollegiet is finished. We pitched in a bleached design, big types and quite an extraordinary grid. A very successful edition.

Through Adrem Internett we were given the creative task to design Dagens Næringsliv's D2 newletter. "D2" is a trend, lifestyle magazine.

As part of our new website we figured we had to have a wicked error 404 page. So if you hit a dead link or a page that does not exist this is the illustration you'll see. :)

Norges Svømmeskole is a a unique and fascinating organisation, and creating their brand identity and website has been a one-in-a-million project.

The brief was to create a punchy profile using bright colours, capturing the energy, excitement and the importance about learning to swim. It became a visually strong, playful and recognisable identity that stands out from the crowd.

We 3D modelled one of Høyang Polaris casseroles and showed of the 
patent pending function of the handle. 15 seconds. Aired at two of Norways 
largest television channels.

We worked with the client to develop a name and an overall 'feel'  of this new company. The name became iEnergies (intelligent Energies) and they believe renewable energies is an exciting area in need of technological innovation.

The result:
 Our concepts developed into a strong and clear identity that takes in the essence of this exciting and positive company.

Our client contacted us to develope a title for this EU water and enviroment project. We provided the client with a mood board of images and words that represented the project, which became a starting point to build the name and our design concepts from.

The title very sucsessfully became "Pura", a latin word that means clean, pure.

The brand identity gives PURA a fresh and vibrant identity that reflects it's "green" credentials yet keeps it a bit playful and public friendly. The final logo has been applied to a wide range of projects further designed by Sommerseth Design.

The facade was in desperate need of some makeover to turn the local shops around and make them more apparent. Heavy use of Photoshop made this possible.

We did a 3D visualization based on some 2D sketches the client had used earlier and also added scenery around to give it a more detailed look.

Our partner on web publishing have just released a major update and we also launched new websites. So in that matter we redesigned completely the Adrem Internett logo/brand.
Inspiration: Russia, revolution.
