Creating the landing page and e-commerce experience for LORE Journal in Webflow was a unique opportunity to merge premium brand expression with technical innovation.
The project was brought to us by Claudia O’Steen and Maddy Hanley, who had already crafted a beautifully considered design in Figma. Our role was to bring their vision to life through precise development and advanced animation techniques.
‍
The challenge:
How do you create an online store that feels like a piece of art?
LORE Journal needed a website that could translate the premium feel of their physical product into a seamless digital experience. The site had to reflect the brand’s elevated tone and artistic sensibility while also functioning as a high-performing e-commerce platform.
Our approach:
We developed a clean, responsive, and immersive experience in Webflow, built around storytelling and subtle interactivity. Key implementations included:
Each interaction was crafted to mirror the quiet confidence and attention to detail that defines the LORE Journal brand.
Common user questions:
How can an online store convey luxury and craftsmanship?
Through intentional design choices like typography, spacing, and animation that emphasize quality and calm, not clutter.
Why use Webflow for a high-end brand?
Webflow allows for custom visuals and interactive storytelling without compromising performance – perfect for brands that care deeply about detail and user experience.
Our goal was to develop a digital presence that reflects the craftsmanship and intellectual depth of the printed journal itself.

Looking to build an online presence that balances elegance, interactivity, and brand authenticity? Let’s talk.

The result:
The finished site communicates LORE Journal’s position as an exclusive, thoughtful, and design-led product. One of the most striking elements is a custom SVG animation that mimics a hand-stitched pattern coming to life as the user scrolls into view. This sequence builds the design thread by thread, bringing the brand’s physical texture into the digital space.
